Our Ingredient Philosophy

We choose the best that nature has to offer. In many cases this will be an organically grown plant, plant extract, and plant based oil.
We use sustainably wild crafted salts, seaweeds, and clays.
Many of our ingredients are fair trade. NONE of them come from China. Instead we select green clay from Italy, lavender from France, elderberries from farmers in the USA!
We investigate the safety of everything from essential oils and herbal remedies to natural preservatives – especially when it comes to use for toddlers and preschoolers! Everything is made with our own children in mind.
Nothing is worse than thinking you have bought a good product than to read the label and realize they snuck in a foaming agent, fragrance, or emulsifier. Occasionally we use naturally derived fragrances and flavors to achieve scents that don’t have essential oils, usually for fruits or vanilla. We are always happy to point these items out.
